Job Details

The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying products to ensure they meet quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.

1st shift

Days:
Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and components.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and inspection requirements, including GD&T.
  • Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, comparators, and other inspection tools.
  • Conduct first article inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final inspections to verify product conformance.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
  • Identify and report quality issues, discrepancies, and non-conforming material.
  • Participate in material review board (MRB) activities and corrective action processes as required.
  • Support compliance with company quality management systems and applicable industry standards.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve inspection and quality concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following established safety procedures.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or coursework in manufacturing, quality, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong understanding of dimensional inspection techniques and precision measuring instruments.
  • Working knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing tolerances.
  • Experience performing first article, in-process, and final inspections.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and electronic quality documentation systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
