Position Details
  • Salary Range from $69,597.00 to $88,853.00 annually
    • 3% Cost of Living Adjustment increase effective 6/29/26
    • Generally, salary placement is at the beginning of the salary range.
    • Advanced placement may be granted depending on related education and experience.
  • Limited‑Term position with benefits
  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Minimum Qualifications

Education/Training:

  • Two years of college coursework in public administration or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in public administration or a related field is highly desirable.

Experience:

  • Two years of research, administrative support or analytical experience, preferably in public administration. Experience directly related to the position is highly desirable.
Ideal Candidate
  • Identify billing discrepancies and resolve issues through careful research, data analysis, and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with customers in person and by phone, demonstrating patience, professionalism, and the ability to explain complex billing matters clearly.
  • Possess strong analytical abilities to conduct research, run data queries, prepare reports, and support departmental projects.
  • Utilize ERP systems and modern office software to maintain records, process transactions, and generate reports.
  • Collaborate effectively with field staff, administrative teams, and the public to ensure smooth operations.
  • Write clearly and professionally when preparing correspondence, reports, notices, and customer communications.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to public service and take pride in delivering reliable, high‑quality support to the community.
  • Maintain accurate financial and account records, process payments, review accounts, and prepare billing adjustments with precision.
  • Stay organized and efficient, managing files, records, and workflows with strong attention to detail.
