Plumbing Service Technician

Pay: $22/ hour plus commission and full benefits package

Dutton Plumbing is growing and actively hiring experienced Residential Service Plumbing Technicians!

• Check in at the shop each morning. Turn in required paperwork and review schedule for the day.
• Dispatch to jobs, write estimates, sell jobs, write invoices and collect payments. All this is done on a company provided IPad.
• Diagnose plumbing issues. Explain diagnosis and solution with customer. Provide multiple options for repair depending on the needs & preferences of the customer.
• Perform plumbing repairs in an efficient and professional manner.
• Ensure regular maintenance of company vehicle & equipment. Communicate with management on any needed repairs.
• Maintain a neatly groomed and professional appearance.
• Follow all company policies and any direction given by management.

• Plumbing fixture trouble-shooting skills is a must.
• Knows plumbing brands and products.
• Diagnosis, maintenance and repair, and installation of plumbing fixtures and components per current code requirements.
• Install, maintain and repair water, and sewer systems.
• Use of Hydro-Jetting, Camera, Drain Machine, Leak Detection, and Line Locating Equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and job site.

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, and heavy lifting and carrying. Work in tiring and uncomfortable positions, around gas lines, around fumes and toxic chemicals, outside and inside. Exposure to extreme temperatures. Frequent district wide travel.
