TIG Welder

Eleven Recruiting is hiring a TIG Welder for one of our largest aerospace manufacturing clients sitting onsite in Simi Valley, CA. This role will require TIG welding experience and performs routine welding and fitting tasks with minimal supervision to meet company and departmental goals. This role focuses on high-precision welding of components and assemblies, contributing to the development and improvement of TIG welding procedures.

The position emphasizes maintaining a safe work environment with a primary goal of zero accidents.

• Perform TIG welding on various fluid systems and sub-assembly components, ensuring high-quality and precise welds.
• Operate precision tools such as torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers specific to TIG welding requirements.
• Follow detailed procedures, specifications, and test instructions to complete TIG welding tasks.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions with a focus on TIG welding techniques and requirements.
• Utilize TIG welding tools and equipment independently without guidance.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment as required to support welding operations.
• Perform blending, filing, and shearing of sheet metal components to prepare for TIG welding.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance TIG welding processes and ensure an efficient work environment.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned related to TIG welding and fabrication.

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.

• Required:
  
  2+ years of experience with TIG welding.
• Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent hands‑on TIG welding experience.

• Proficiency in TIG welding with materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel, Inconel, aluminum, copper, or titanium.
• Expertise in aerospace TIG welding (preferred).
• Ability to cut, grind, and fabricate tubes, including small and large diameters (up to 6
