Technician, Refrigeration​/HVAC

Position Summary

Wednesday – Saturday 1:30 PM PST - 12:00 AM PST

Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician – support and oversee repair within Walmart facilities, utilizing commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills and using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.

• 2 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair work orders, support store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights frequently.

• Individual compensation packages based on factors such as skill set, experience, and job offer level.

The hourly wage range for this position is $28.00 - $54.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in specific circumstances.
