Staff Accountant

We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join a growing team in South Carolina. • Prepare and post journal entries to ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
• Maintain the general ledger by reviewing account activity, researching discrepancies, and supporting month-end close processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts to verify accuracy and resolve variances promptly.
• Process payroll activities with careful attention to compliance, timing, and recordkeeping requirements.
• Manage sales tax reporting and filings by gathering data, reviewing calculations, and meeting submission deadlines.
• Assist with bookkeeping and routine accounting tasks that support the overall financial health of the organization.
• Help identify and correct accounting issues by analyzing supporting documentation and communicating findings clearly.
