Eastridge Workforce Solutions is partnering with a growing manufacturing customer to support the launch and expansion of a new industrial site in Simpsonville, SC. We are seeking a hands-on On-Site Manager to lead the build-out and day-to-day management of a high-volume contingent workforce.
This role is ideal for a staffing leader who thrives on the floor, enjoys rolling up their sleeves, and has experience managing large industrial headcounts in fast-paced environments.
What You’ll DoAs the On-Site Manager, you will act as the on-site extension of Eastridge and our client, owning all aspects of the temporary workforce and serving as the primary point of contact for hiring managers and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead high-volume industrial recruiting (entry-level and manufacturing roles) during an aggressive ramp period
- Source, screen, and interview candidates (in-person and virtual)
- Manage daily workforce operations including attendance, absences, injuries, transfers, and timekeeping
- Serve as the main on-site contact for client leaders and hiring managers, providing program guidance and support
- Partner with hiring managers on requisition management, extensions, and workforce planning
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding of contingent employees and ensure a smooth employee experience
- Address employee relations matters, questions, and concerns directly and professionally
- Ensure compliance with contingent workforce policies and program requirements
- Track KPIs, quality checks, and compliance metrics
- Participate in regular status meetings and proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service
- Escalate operational or compliance issues as needed
- 2+ years of account management and/or staffing leadership experience
- Proven background in industrial or manufacturing recruiting
- Experience managing high-volume headcount independently
- Comfortable being fully hands-on — sourcing, recruiting, and managing day-to-day operations
- Strong client-facing experience working with both leadership and floor-level employees
- Comfortable managing to KPIs and performance metrics
- Experience supporting new site launches or market expansions
- Background in on-site or branch management within staffing
- On-site: 5 days per week in Simpsonville, SC
