Shift: Night
Pay rate: $29.90 to $39.45
Responsibilities- Troubleshoots machines and equipment breakdowns to diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic problems.
- Performs preventive maintenance such as lubrication, precision machine setups and proactive parts replacements.
- Disassembles and reassembles machines to replace broken or defective equipment and parts.
- Replaces various electrical components such as AC and DC drives, PLCs, relays, E‑Ps, motors and others.
- Utilizes laptop PCs to connect to PLCs and diagnose production equipment problems.
- Diagnoses AC and DC drive problems using HIMs and laptop PCs.
- Replaces chains, belts, gearboxes, bearings and others.
- Maintains pneumatics and hydraulic systems.
- Documents all repair activities in the SAP Plant Maintenance module to maintain an accurate equipment history.
- Routinely seeks root causes of failures to identify corrective measures to be taken to prevent a recurrence.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Associates Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering Technology, Industrial Electronics or Mechanical Engineering Technology preferred.
- Relevant Military training or work experience will be considered in lieu of education.
- 3 - 5 years relevant industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment preferred to include troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools and electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, clamp on ammeters, meggers and process calibrators.
- Proficient in the servicing and maintenance of 480
VAC, 3‑phase power systems used to power motors, electrical cabinets etc. - Basic understanding of machining processes such as lathe, milling, surface grinding, gear and keyway cutting, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and ability to use general machinist.
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems.
- Computer knowledge and 1-2 years of MS Office applications and SAP transactions experience preferred.
