The Group Performance Leader or Production Manager is responsible for the safety, quality, delivery, cost performance, and people of a production area within the Simpsonville site. You will be responsible for driving production targets, and improvements to the SQDCP metrics.
Why do we need you?- Execute the production schedule on time while monitoring daily performance and reporting issues in Tier/integration meetings.
- Lead daily War Room/Tier 1 meetings with cross-functional teams (Safety, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance) and ensure KPIs are updated and communicated.
- Develop and manage the daily operational plan based on production reviews and scheduling meetings to ensure key activities are completed.
- Partner with Maintenance to coordinate planned activities and guarantee equipment readiness prior to interventions.
- Drive problem‑solving initiatives related to safety, quality, and operational performance, escalating risks when necessary.
- Act as a coach for Team Performance Leaders (TPLs), ensuring teams complete effectiveness assessments and operate at high performance.
- Maintain accountability for safety, quality, productivity KPIs, and support continuous improvement through new standards, procedures, and operational enhancements.
- Lead a team of up to 160 employees, providing coaching, setting goals, managing performance, and making people‑related decisions in partnership with HR (including hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions).
- Engineering degree required
- 8‑10 years manufacturing experience
- Green Belt Certification preferred
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing large teams in manufacturing environments.
- Solid knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven ability to operate in high‑volume production settings with a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

The range disclosed complies with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Offers within this range will be determined by considering relevant factors including education, experience, and internal alignment. This position may also be eligible for annual performance bonuses and other incentive programs.
