- Plan and perform a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly, testing, fabrication, and inspection operations on various products.
- Maintain hourly production to meet daily plans and ensure operators follow standard work procedures.
- Determine methods and sequence of assembly operations using production sheets, wire lists, samples, blueprints, schematics, and verbal instructions.
- Utilize small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers.
- Identify and select components for integration into sub-assembly and assembly units.
- Perform set‑ups, alignments, and adjustments while maintaining tolerances as per instructions.
- Disassemble, modify, rework, refurbish, reassemble, and test units as required.
- Provide work leadership to lower-level assemblers by assigning tasks, reviewing progress, and monitoring results.
- Facilitate and oversee meetings to communicate production goals, address challenges, and recognize achievements.
- Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. HS Diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- 4 years of experience with mechanical or electro‑mechanical assembly processes.
- Prior work experience using small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, and screwdrivers.
- Familiarity with computers, test equipment, label printers, and software tools such as Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
- Prior experience with SAP and Microsoft Office.
