Electrical Design Engineer II

We are hiring an Electrical Design Engineer II for a leading aerospace & defense manufacturer developing high‑reliability electronic systems used in mission‑critical applications. This is a hands‑on engineering role with full lifecycle ownership of circuit board design, development, and validation in a highly structured, regulated environment.

Location: Simsbury, CT (onsite)

The Electrical Design Engineer II is responsible for designing, developing, and validating circuit board assemblies and subsystems, supporting the full product lifecycle from concept through integration and production in a high‑reliability environment.

• Design analog, digital, and mixed‑signal circuits and systems
• Develop schematics and support PCB layout and routing
• Perform circuit analysis, simulation, and risk assessment
• Support hardware fabrication, assembly, testing, and integration
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware performance issues during development and testing
• Participate across all phases of the product lifecycle (requirements, design, test, integration, support)
• Create and maintain technical documentation and design artifacts

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in electrical or hardware design
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium preferred)
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design
• Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or highly regulated environments preferred

$100,000 – $130,000 + 5–10% bonus. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
