Assembler, Manufacturing ​/ Production

This opportunity is located within our Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company business, a global leader of mission-critical hardware and systems solutions including precision energetics systems and innovative explosive solutions.

The Assembler is an important member of the team that builds our products. This position produces high quality assemblies in accordance with specific engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions. Responsible for safety, quality and delivery of products for our Aerospace and Defense markets. This role will report to the Production Supervisor of Linear & Transfer Systems in our Simsbury, CT location.

• Perform manual assembly as defined in Manufacturing Instructions using hand tools, simple machinery, etc.
• Loading and unloading components into automatic machines and powders into cups to press
• Clean, measure, cut, sample, spool, coil and pack product
• Maintain quality and accuracy requirements

• Excels in a dynamic, changeable work environment;
  Energetic and positive;
  Ability to work independently
• High School diploma
• Ability to read and understand written instructions in English
• Contribute towards continuous improvement initiatives
