Location: Simsbury, CT
Job Type: Full Time | Non-Exempt
Shift: Monday - Friday | 6:00am - 2:30pm

WhatYou'll Do
- Stage products and packaging materials across production lines, performing quality checks to keep pace with daily schedules and high standards
- Help boost efficiency and cut down on waste by taking ownership, working closely with teammates, and communicating clearly
- Conduct in-process and final quality checks — testing, visual inspections, precise weighing — while keeping data recording, product tracking, and packaging airtight
- Keep the production space organized, clean, and always inspection-ready
- Follow OSHA standards and all required SOPs so every product is accurately labeled and fully compliant with state regulations
- Willingness to learn and train on a variety of production equipment and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and solid communication skills in a fast-paced, team‑based environment
- Ability to stay focused and consistent through repetitive tasks over an extended shift
- A strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive, professional attitude
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- At least one year of manufacturing or packaging experience with a focus on product safety and quality
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods (8-10 hours per shift)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly, with occasional heavier lifts assisted
- Frequent, repetitive use of hands and wrists
- Repetitive bending, squatting, and reaching
- Ability to climb ladders or step stools as needed
- Comfortable wearing required PPE (masks, hairnets, beard covers, respirators, boot covers, scrubs, non-slip shoes, Tyvek suits as necessary)
- Exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and strong plant odors
- Exposure to soil, water, fertilizer, dust, pollen, and plant pathogens
- Exposure to cleaning solvents such as isopropyl alcohol
- Exposure to loud equipment noise (compressors, packaging machinery, alarms)
- Exposure to CO2 manufacturing processes within OSHA-approved levels
- 21+
- Must possess a valid state
- Must be able to obtain and maintain required state badging (includes background check and state review)
