Team Introduction The Global Payment team of Byte Dance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on Byte Dance platforms including Tik Tok.

• Spearhead the establishment of global entities to uphold business goals achievement in payment cost reduction, payment success rate improvement and payment license obtainment
• Strategize the corporate ownership structure by liaising with Global Legal Compliance and Corporate Legal to fence risks for licensed entities.
• Administer post incorporation matters including but not limited to registration information change, entity structure and information maintenance, and corporate documents archive.
• Manage board and shareholder meeting processes, including but not limited to standardizing cadence, preparing agendas and packs, coordinating attendees, taking minutes and generating board resolutions.
• Govern the appointment process for board of directors and statutory officers by defining personnel qualifications and implementing the appointment process in accordance with corporate law, regulatory requirements and Bytedance group policies.
• Assist stakeholders in performing their duties by defining R&R and arranging further training as necessary.
• Working with Compliance officers to maintain licensed entity corporate governance related matters, including maintaining required corporate governance disclosure items (i.e. corporate ownership structure).
• Working with Compliance officers to ensure board and board level committee approvals of applicable policies and procedures and maintaining the cadence of periodic review and update of board level policies.
• Working with Compliance officers to furnish all corporate governance-related materials to support license applications, renewals, regulatory inspections, and internal audits.
• Formulate internal operation processes and policies as necessary to clarify cooperation workflow with relevant teams for enhanced efficiency.

• Minimum Qualifications:
  
  Proven ability to build and maintain senior relationships in complex environments, Exceptional written and spoken communication skills, Result oriented, a strong eye for detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  5 years experience in the role of corporate secretary, corporate governance or law, and preferably in the multi-national fintech or financial services industry;
  Functional knowledge of, and experience with, implementing corporate governance or compliance frameworks.
