The OpportunityThe key objective of the Senior Director, Financial Institutions is to lead strategic partnerships with banks and other financial ecosystem partners (card networks, e‑wallets, etc) to co‑create differentiated value propositions for customers and drive profitable growth.
The Senior Director, Financial Institutions will bring a strong leadership drive and commercial acumen coupled with operations and project management knowledge, high level of sales and consulting skills and technical savviness with the ability to develop, motivate, mentor, and coach subordinates and cross‑functional teams.
This position is based in Singapore or Bangkok.
What You’ll Do- Define, communicate and execute growth strategy for partnership business in several APAC countries in alignment with department and company visions.
- Define and execute our partnership regional growth strategy with key partners by driving business development initiatives and growing existing partnerships through innovation.
- Lead cross‑functional projects (Product, Marketing, Data/Analytics, Finance, Legal/Compliance) to explore new partnership model and deliver top line and bottom‑line growth.
- Deliver on countries commercial and profitability targets through robust performance management portfolio prioritization, and test‑and‑learn experimentation.
- Lead, coach and develop a multifunctional team through upskilling and coaching.
- Lead and own establishing/maintaining robust relationships at higher level with key partners, influencing key partnership expansions, identifying significant opportunities
- Successfully influence and manage senior internal stakeholders, upwards and cross‑functionally, to set and drive common objectives and achieve business impact
- Coordinate with senior leadership on strategic planning, objectives, and resource allocation to ensure the competitiveness of Agoda’s and other Booking Holdings group companies’ partnership products and services in the market.
- Effectively communicate business updates to senior leadership through Quarterly Business Reviews, Strategic Deep Dives and other ad hoc updates.
- 15+ years of professional experience; knowledge of financial institutions (FI), payments, loyalty, or adjacent partnership ecosystems is strongly preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in leading, coaching and developing teams, with proven success record, in rapidly changing environment.
