Part-Time Lecturer - Public Policy and Global Affairs

The Public Policy And Global Affairs Programme, School Of Social Sciences, invites applications for Part‑time Lecturers (PTLs). We are looking for PTLs who can contribute to teaching (conducting seminars, lectures, tutorials and assessment) in our programme, particularly in these areas:

• Political Theory (including but not limited to the history of political thought, contemporary political theory, non‑Western political theory, analytic political thought)
• Public Policy or Public Administration (including but not limited to public policy and administration in Singapore and Asia, policy implementation, AI and governance, sustainability)
• Environmental governance
• Civil society
• Gender and development
• Ethics and Civics
• Comparative politics

• Develop course materials and syllabus
• Conduct seminars/lectures/tutorials
• Develop assessments for the course
• Grade course assignments (including tests, quizzes, exam scripts)
• Invigilate the final examination
• Handle all student queries on course‑related matters
• Work with the Head of Division to ensure smooth and timely course delivery

• At least a PhD in social sciences; a specialisation in a political science sub‑field will be an advantage
• Prior tutoring/lecturing experience will be an advantage
• Able to teach and invigilate during office hours
