The Market Strategist will be an integral member of the multi-asset Portfolio Solutions team, responsible for providing tactical asset allocation advisory to the Business Units. The ideal candidate should bring direct experience in building tactical asset allocation frameworks across asset classes. The role requires effective communication and stakeholder engagement across investment, product and distribution teams and the incumbent will support various investment initiatives as assigned.

• Develop/enhance Tactical Asset Allocation framework
• Conduct in-depth research on global macro and market developments including regions/sectors/styles
• Cross-asset market research and analysis
• Generate analysis on topical and thematic macro and market issues
• Utilize and integrate internal/external research to enhance existing tactical asset allocation process
• Develop and maintain models for portfolio construction and tactical asset allocation decision making
• Construct/enhance robust portfolio construction and risk management framework

Derivatives Strategy

• Develop derivatives (e.g. futures, options, swaps) strategies to express targeted tactical asset allocation views

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

• Communicate investment views, portfolio positioning, and performance drivers to internal and external stakeholders
• Support client meetings and marketing efforts with clear and insightful materials

• At least 10 years of relevant investment experience in multi-asset asset allocation advisory, ideally with direct experience managing multi-asset portfolios, including dynamic asset allocation and rebalancing
• Experience with derivatives (e.g. futures, options, swaps) as well as semi-liquid private strategies or liquid alternatives strategies is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering or mathematics. Advanced degree or professional certifications such as CFA will be viewed favorably
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail, disciplined education, and sound judgement
• Team player with demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and performance-driven environment
