** Introduction:
** The Senior Accountant job role is a team player, focused on financial control, compliance, and complex operational accounting, particularly within a manufacturing (inventory related - focus).
** Your Job**:
* Audit Coordination:
Serve as a key point of contact and actively participate in annual internal and external audits, preparing necessary schedules (SOX compliance), Inventory / Costing Controls SOX documentations, and assist in answering auditor inquiries
* Internal Controls:
Develop, document, and monitor internal control procedures to safeguard company inventories and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
* Month-End, Qtr end & Year-End Close:
Execute the procedures for closing the financial including posting complex journal entries, working closely within cross functional team within Finance.
* Account Reconciliation:
Perform and review reconciliations of all key balance sheet accounts (Global Inventory) and the general ledger to ensure accuracy.
* Reporting:
Support inventory-related policy updates & any other adhoc requests (e.g Quarterly Corporate reporting inventory-related transactions)

* Other Responsibilities:

*** Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
** Required Qualifications**:
* Education  BS in Accountancy
* Min 6 years experience in similar role.
* Fluency in English Language – written & verbal
*
* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Standard Costing experience
* Oracle / SAP system experience
