Senior Finance Manager, Fiat/Payment Ops

About the Opportunity- Play a key role in facilitating fiat transactions on a global scale
- Manage daily settlements, reconciliations, and solve payment‑related issues efficiently
- Collaborate with diverse professionals globally and contribute to the growth and success of our platform
- Manage customers’ fiat currency deposits and withdrawals on the exchange platform, overseeing and executing the transfer of fiat currency into and out of the exchange.
- Reconcile daily fiat balances between the exchange system and bank accounts.
- Resolve customer inquiries related to payment processing.
- Analyse and highlight exceptional items related to settlements, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams and banking partners to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Support future development efforts by testing new product offerings.
- Provide performance reports and analysis with metrics for assessing performance and improvements.
- Support the accounting team with reconciliations and other payment‑related activities.
- Review settlement operations and suggest areas of improvement and automation.
- Support ad‑hoc requests from the operations team or cross‑functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in fiat operations, preferably in cryptocurrency, banking, payment services, or fintech industries.
- Proficient in financial reconciliation and accounting principles.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Familiarity with MAS regulations and compliance procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong prioritisation skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
- Proficiency in English, written and spoken.
- Previous experience at a crypto exchange.
- Experience working across time zones and cross‑cultural teams.
