Marine Engine Fitter

As Marine Engine Fitter/Technician, you will be part of the technical team specializing on repair and maintenance, overhaul and marine engines and machinery equipment.

• Carry out installation, dismantling, repair, and overhaul of marine engines and related equipment

• Perform maintenance and servicing of diesel engines, pumps, compressors, valves, and auxiliary machinery

• Inspect engine components and identify defects, wear, or equipment failures

• Replace faulty parts such as pistons, liners, bearings, seals, gaskets, and filters

• Align, assemble, and test engine components according to technical specifications

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities

• Assist in engine troubleshooting and breakdown repairs

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, manuals, and technical instructions

• Use precision measuring instruments to check tolerances and clearances

• Perform pressure testing, leak testing, and operational testing after repairs

• Experience in marine engine maintenance, ship repair, or heavy machinery fitting

• Knowledge of two-stroke and four-stroke marine diesel engines

• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments

• Understanding of marine safety and quality standards

• Able to work onboard vessels and in shipyard environments

• Good understanding of Singapore marine shipyard and shipping sector
