Safely operate the ammonia refrigeration system and related equipment in the plant;
Diagnose system problems and perform repairs to maintain operations;
Perform startups, shutdowns and defrost procedures on refrigeration systems;
Maintain cooler ozone system and monitor temperature controls for carcass holding areas, ice production, chillers, and freezers;
Perform PM procedures and preventive maintenance on refrigeration equipment and assist with line openings and major repairs as needed
