Summary
Join our growing team as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk and play a key role in ensuring our service trucks and cranes reach our customers on time and in perfect condition. In this role, you'll be responsible for the accurate, safe, and efficient handling of all incoming and outgoing materials, parts, and finished products. You'll work closely with team members to maintain smooth workflow, effective communication, and a well-organized, safe work environment.
WhatYou'll Do
Prepare equipment and parts for successful shipment in compliance with customer requirements, carrier guidelines, and safety regulations.
Schedule pickups with freight carriers and coordinate logistics for timely delivery.
Load shipments onto trucks and trailers using forklifts, overhead cranes, or by driving equipment onto trailers.
Unload incoming deliveries, inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies, and verify accuracy against purchase orders.
Document and report shortages, damages, or incorrect materials to the purchasing department.
Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records in the ERP system.
1–3 years of experience in UPS & LTL shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations (manufacturing environment preferred).
Previous experience driving a forklift and operating an overhead crane.
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Basic computer skills for data entry, inventory tracking, and label printing.
