We are seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and excels at task prioritization.

Job Description
  • Conduct Research
    :
    Use various online and internal title plant programs to review Iowa county records.
  • Order Management
    :
    Create new files for incoming orders and ensure accurate order entry.
  • Administrative Support
    :
    Perform basic tasks such as scanning, uploading files, and typing.
  • Title Examination
    :
    Learn and assist with the title examination process, including:
    • Understanding abstracts and chains of title.
    • Analyzing how liens and encumbrances impact title.
    • Applying the rules for creating Iowa-specific abstracting products.
  • Data Entry and Documentation
    :
    • Enter new orders and maintain accurate records.
    • Prepare and review Iowa Title Guaranty’s and Certificates.
    • Generate search product reports such as 900/901s and Reports of Liens.
  • Customer Service
    :
    • Handle incoming orders over the phone.
    • Address customer inquiries about order status, revisions, and other needs.
    • Communicate with clients to gather information necessary for real estate transactions.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    :
    Support various tasks as assigned.
Experience/Education/Skills

We are looking for candidates who bring a combination of education, relevant work experience, and technical abilities that align with the responsibilities of this role. Key qualifications include:

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in data entry.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Previous experience in title research, customer service, or a related field is a plus.
