Responsibilities and Duties
Provide emergency medical care in a 30,000 annual visit emergency department
Deliver patient-centered services in a trauma setting
Work collaboratively with physician assistants and nurse practitioners
Manage acute care and trauma cases across all age groups
Maintain timely and accurate documentation of clinical encounters

Additional Information
Active Iowa medical license, CDS, and DEA required
Board certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (or osteopathic equivalents)
Must be residency trained and certified in specialty
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
Recent CME and case logs (past 2 years), plus copies of all diplomas required
Up-to-date immunization records must be provided
