The duties for a Dental Assistant Adjunct (lab/clinical) will include but are not limited to:

• Being a resource for dental assistant students
• Assisting with laboratory sessions
• Providing timely feedback to students
• Evaluations
• Collection of course assessment data
• Maintaining student records

Dental Assistant adjuncts will use appropriate teaching techniques for didactic and lab instruction while ensuring a safe and healthy work and learning environment complying with college and regulatory policies.

• Current registration or licensure in Iowa, Nebraska, or South Dakota
• Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider Level – current
• Mandatory Reporter Dependent Adult and Child Certified- current
• Immunizations as per Health Science Division for clinical faculty
