Strong candidates will be those who are eager to share their knowledge, skills and experiences with Morningside students, while actively contributing to the School’s projects and initiatives. For this position, we are particularly interested in candidates who have expertise in marketing strategy, as evidenced through professional experiences, such as firm-level marketing decisions, go-to-market strategy, sales force strategy, and customer relationship management, and related research interests.
Ideal candidates will view marketing professionals as strategic partners who engage data-driven (and AI-enabled) processes of analyzing market trends, consumer needs, and the competitive landscape to support big-picture business goals aimed at building lasting competitive advantages.
Our marketing courses emphasize strategic marketing, branding, consumer behavior, digital marketing, and integrated marketing communications, preparing students for leadership roles in both corporate and nonprofit sectors. The selected candidate will be empowered to create (or update) courses within the business and marketing curricula and reimagine the marketing degree program.
The faculty member will oversee the Marketing major, including curriculum review, course scheduling input, and assessment data collection supporting Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) accreditation. The faculty member will contribute to the School’s strategic capstone and lead the continued development of a strategy-anchored marketing curriculum as the School pursues initial programmatic accreditation from IACBE.
