The work involves supervising the design and construction of streets, bridges, water and sewer systems, related facilities and other public works projects.

Applicant should have thorough knowledge of principles and practices of civil engineering, Survey systems, and drafting. Our employees are required to reside within thirty (30) miles of the City of Sioux City limits which includes Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota. For a brief overview of Sioux City and this position, please review the hiring brochure here. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00AM-4:30PM. Possession of an Engineer in Training Certificate as issued by the Iowa Professional Licensing Bureau – Engineering and Land Surveying Examination Board or the ability to obtain one within one year of the date of hire.

Must become registered as a Professional Engineer in the State of Iowa within five years of hire. Come join us!
