Field Master of Ceremonies; MC

Position: On-Field Master of Ceremonies (MC)
The Sioux City Explorers are looking for a high-energy, outgoing, and entertaining On-Field MC to help bring the ballpark to life on game days! This role is the face and voice of in-game entertainment, responsible for engaging fans, hosting promotions, and keeping energy levels high throughout the game.

Key Responsibilities

• Host and emcee all in-game promotions, contests, and fan engagement activities
• Interact with fans of all ages in a fun, energetic, and professional manner
• Work closely with the promotions and production team to execute game scripts and timing
• Provide live announcements and crowd hype between innings and during breaks in play
• Represent the Sioux City Explorers brand positively and enthusiastically at all times
• Assist with on-field setup and breakdown of promotional activities as needed

Qualifications

• Bubbly, outgoing, and eccentric personality with strong stage presence
• Comfortable speaking in front of large crowds and working with a microphone
• Strong communication and improvisation skills
• Basic knowledge of baseball rules, game flow, and terminology
• Ability to think on your feet and adapt to live-game situations
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays during the season
• Previous experience in public speaking, theater, broadcasting, promotions, or entertainment is a plus (but not required)
