We're seeking an experienced Assistant Plant Manager to help lead daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced food production environment. This role partners with the Plant Manager to drive safety, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities- Champion a safety-first culture and food safety compliance
- Lead production through KPI performance (Safety, Quality, OEE, Productivity, Cost)
- Drive Lean initiatives and continuous improvement
- Improve equipment reliability, reduce waste, and optimize operations
- Develop, coach, and engage production teams
- Support new product launches and cross-functional initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Food Science, or related field
- 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience (food manufacturing preferred)
- Strong Lean/Continuous Improvement and operational leadership experience
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Spanish language skills are a plus
