Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in Iowa, requiring at least 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience and a completed travel contract.
Responsibilities- Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Uses Epic EMR
- Local candidates are not eligible for this position
- Travelers who were employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible
- Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays:
Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving - Time off requests during the Thanksgiving (11/26–11/30) and winter holiday (12/23–1/2) windows are limited to 1 day per period
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
- Active IA RN license (single-state or compact) required
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
- Current NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- At least 1 prior travel contract required
- Valid Driver's License required for consideration
- One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years preferred
- Candidates must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility
