• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel, W2 (W2 travel nurse position)
• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $2,020 – $2,130
• EMR: Epic (Epic EMR experience preferred)
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend; holiday rotation if scheduled

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg and/or Oncology RN experience (required) — strong medical-surgical nursing and oncology nursing background preferred
• Active Iowa RN license (required)
• BLS (AHA) certification (required)
• ACLS (AHA) certification (required)
• NIHSS certification (required; may be obtained during onboarding)
• Experience administering IV drips:
  Heparin, PCA, epidural (required); chemotherapy administration experience if chemo-certified
• High-acuity care experience preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred (traveler-friendly orientation and expectations)
• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility
• Submission materials required: driver’s license, work history/resume, skills checklist (completed within 1 year), license verification, copies of required certifications, and one supervisory reference

• Provide safe, patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care for medical-surgical and oncology patients
• Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor patients for changes in condition; escalate concerns to the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications, IV drips, and chemotherapy if certified to do so
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and allied health professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, symptom management, and post-discharge care
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in Epic EMR
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed to support staffing
• Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold high standards of patient safety and quality
