• At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute‑care Med/Surg setting
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility

Med‑Surg RN nurses provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures and for those managed with pharmaceuticals. They must be competent in a broad range of medical conditions.

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post‑surgical care.
• Assess changes in patients’ health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Maintain meticulous documentation for medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.
