Job Shift: Overnights / 3rd Shift

Sunrise Retirement is seeking a Part Time 3rd shift Charge Nurse (RN or LPN) with a $5000 sign on Bonus!

• Provide direct assessment and care to the residents of this facility.
• Provide supervision of nursing department employees and evaluation staffing patterns to ensure quality care to all residents.
• Provide emergency services to the residents of independent living community.
• Provide quality care with a positive attitude and great customer service.

• Must have a current nursing license and allowed to practice nursing in a qualifying state.
• Able to do all nursing duties following long term care regulations and procedure relevant to the charge nurse scope of practice.
• Able to problem solve situations and come up with interventions and solutions.
• Able to supervise nursing assistants and have some supervisor experience.
• Able to attend all mandatory trainings and keep current on all certifications (CPR, Mandatory Reporter, etc.).

• Frequently lifts in excess of 35 pounds in performance of daily duties.
• Frequently required to push/pull wheelchairs, carts, and other equipment in the performance of daily duties.
• Frequently required to climb, balance, crouch, kneel and stoop in the performance of daily duties.
• Frequently required to use finger dexterity and grasping in the performance of daily duties.
• Frequently required to use reaching and repetitive movements in the performance of daily duties.
• Able to work with blood borne pathogens, chemical hazards and respiratory hazards.
