Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in Sioux City, IA, requiring Epic proficiency and at least one prior travel contract.

Requirements

• Active IA RN license or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• At least 1 completed travel contract required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Valid driver s license required for consideration
• One supervisory reference (within 2 years of employment/contract) required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratio of 5–6 patients per nurse on nights
• EMR:
  Epic (experience required)
• Floating within the same discipline across local campuses may be required
• Contributes clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Candidates must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Travelers are required to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays:
  Christmas, New Year s, or Thanksgiving
• RTO is limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving week and Christmas/New Year s holiday windows, regardless of holidays worked
• Candidates employed by this health system within the past 12 months may not be eligible for this position
