Travel Med Surg RN | Iowa | 13-Week Contract

Join a supportive healthcare team caring for post-operative medical and surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.

13 Weeks

• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical RN experience
• At least 1 completed travel assignment required
• Active Iowa RN License or Compact License
• AHA BLS Certification
• NIHSS Certification
• EPIC experience preferred

• General Medical/Surgical unit
• Care for post-operative patients requiring overnight hospitalization
• Floating required within the same specialty across local campuses
• EMR:
  EPIC
• First-time travelers are not accepted (minimum one completed travel contract required)

• Driver's License
• Current Resume/Work History
• Skills Checklist (completed within the last year)
• Active RN License Verification
• Copies of required certifications
• One recent supervisory reference required at submission
• Must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility (Madison locals accepted at a reduced local rate)
• Cannot have been employed by UnityPoint Health within the past 12 months

• Fast interview process – qualified candidates receive a call/text from a 405 area code
• Work with a collaborative interdisciplinary team
• Gain experience in a busy post-operative Med Surg unit
• Traveler-friendly assignment with EPIC charting
