American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position on night shift, requiring high-risk and circulating experience at a high-volume delivery center.

• Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• High-risk, high-acuity patient population
• Facility volume of 200-300 deliveries per month
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:00 AM), 36 hours per week
• Every third weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Float to Post-Partum 1-2 shifts per week required
• EMR:
  Epic (Epic Stork experience preferred)

• Active RN license (Iowa or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN (fetal monitoring), and NRP
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Circulating experience required
• Scrub experience preferred
• High-acuity experience required
• Experience with in the past year at a large, high-volume delivery center (200-300 deliveries/month) required
• Multiple completed travel contracts preferred
• Work history must reflect 24 months of current L&D experience
• Skills checklist specific to Labor and Delivery required
• Professional reference from a supervisor/manager within the past 24 months preferred
• Driver's license required for consideration

• Contribute clinical knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary care team for Labor and Delivery patients
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Holiday coverage required, with travelers expected to work 2 of 3major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving)
• Limited time-off requests permitted during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday periods
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (based on driver's license) to be eligible
• Local candidates are not eligible for this position
• Candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for submission
