Description:
As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients.
Patient ratios are 1:2.The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
The role involves being cross-trained in ICU, though travelers will not take ICU patients.
On-call responsibilities include every third weekend, either 12 or 24 hours, and potentially 2-4 nights weekly.
This position requires active participation in patient care while ensuring high standards of practice.
Professional development and collaboration with the healthcare team are essential components of the role.
