American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg-Oncology night shift position requiring an IA or compact license and 2+ years of med surg/oncology experience.

• Work on the Surg/Onc unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every third weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active RN license (IA or compact) required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (NIHSS may be obtained during onboarding)
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg and/or Oncology experience required
• Experience administering Heparin, PCA, and epidural drips required
• Chemo certification required if administering chemotherapy
• Travel nursing and high acuity care experience preferred
• One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment/contract required for consideration
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Provide care management for med surg and oncology patient populations
• Holiday coverage required, working 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
• Limited time off requests permitted during peak holiday periods in late November and December
• Candidates must have a taxable address outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Previous employment with the facility within the past 12 months may affect eligibility for this position
