American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week day-shift assignment at a Level III trauma center, requiring 2+ years of Med/Surg experience and Epic EMR experience.

• Medical unit (3A Medical) within a hospital setting
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, scheduled 36-48 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• May float within the same discipline across local campuses
• 13-week assignment length

• Active RN license (IA or Compact) required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• 2+ years of Med/Surg experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Heparin drip experience preferred
• Skills checklist specific to Med/Surg discipline required
• Supervisory reference/performance evaluation completed within the last 2 years required
• Valid driver's license required
• No employment with the facility within the last 12 months

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Provide and manage patient care in a Level III trauma center environment
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
• Limited to 1 day off request during 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26
