Garda World Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer for Sioux City, IA.
About the Position- Location:
Sioux City, IA - Schedule:
Full-time, 2nd Shift, Thursday to Sunday, 1 p.m.
- 9 p.m. - Hourly wage: $18.00 / Hour
- Uniform provided at no cost

- Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
- Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
- Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
- Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities.
- Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
- Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies.
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- High School Diploma or GED (documentation required).
- Pass an extensive screening process.
- Strong report writing skills.
- Sharp visual and concentration skills.
- Strong proficiency with technology.
- Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
- State license required if applicable.
Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment is extended.
