Security Officer Dayshift Plant Patrol

As a Security Officer Plant Patrol Monitoring in Sioux City, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, manage badge access, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

• Sat: 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Document incidents, access-related activity, and observations accurately while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
