The Iowa Department of Public Defense is seeking an Airport Firefighter to support the 185th Air Refueling Wing in Sioux City, IA. You will perform firefighting, rescue, salvage, fire prevention, and protection operations on an assigned shift at a joint-use civil/military airport to protect lives, aircraft, and facilities.
Applicants must hold IFSAC/Pro Board Fire Fighter I certification (or Fire Fighter II with EMS), possess a valid Iowa EMS certification, and pass a rigorous agility test.
