Full-Time Diesel & Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Technician

Work hours are Monday through Friday during normal business hours.

• Diagnostic repair and maintenance of a wide variety of construction equipment including, but not limited to lifts, mini excavators, generators, construction tools and miscellaneous equipment
• Maintain paperwork for work orders

• Strong interest in working with hand‑held power tools
• Ability to use a computer to obtain information and instructions
• Excellent problem‑solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work under pressure
• Organized and able to maintain a neat workspace
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Ability to work independently and as part of team

• Vocational or technical education in mechanics, machine tool technology or related field preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience heavy equipment repair and maintenance preferred (not required)
• Mechanical ability and knowledge

• Competitive compensation of $23.00-$30.00, based on experience

• Must be able to lift up to 100lbs at a time.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Moderate amounts of grasping, fingering, and repetitive motion
• Operate hand and power tools and other specialized equipment
• Adequate vision to read small print and work with intricate parts and equipment
• Sufficient hearing for sounds and signals from equipment to detect and diagnose problems
• Able to stand for long periods of time and work in uncomfortable positions
