Lead Diesel Mechanic

Pay: DOE (Depending on Experience)

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, drive trains, suspension systems, clutches, hydraulics, steering, fuel, electrical, HVAC, and air brake systems
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and accurately diagnose driver complaints
• Identify root causes of part and component failures
• Perform inspections and ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
• Complete welding and fabrication repairs as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional shop environment
• Maintain and properly use tools and diagnostic equipment
• Complete all assigned work safely, efficiently, and according to company standards
• Maintain Minnesota Inspection Certification or obtain certification after hire

• Minimum 1 year of diesel engine repair experience
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical or related experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience working on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, or equipment preferred
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Must have the necessary hand tools to perform the job
