Parts Delivery Driver

The Parts Delivery Driver plays a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive the right automotive parts and equipment in a timely and efficient manner. If you are a skilled driver with excellent customer service skills and a commitment to safety, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Delivery of Parts:
Safely and efficiently transport parts, equipment, and supplies to designated customer locations. - Loading and Unloading:
Load and unload parts and supplies onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are secured and protected during transit. - Route Planning:
Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency, minimize travel time, and ensure on-time deliveries. - Customer Service:
Provide exceptional customer service by delivering parts with a friendly and professional demeanor. Answer customer questions and address their needs. - Inventory Management:
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies or shortages to the appropriate personnel. - Documentation:
Complete delivery receipts, invoices, and any required paperwork accurately and promptly. Ensure proper documentation of deliveries and returns. - Vehicle Maintenance:
Perform basic maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and fuel levels. Report any vehicle issues promptly. - Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Follow proper safety protocols, especially when handling hazardous materials.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading.
- Excellent map reading and navigation skills. Familiarity with GPS devices is a plus.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and equipment (preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
