Fleet Supervisor

Position Summary:

Responsible for overseeing all functions of the fleet maintenance department.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate the daily maintenance and repair of company owned cars and tractors/trailers

Establish and maintain vehicle operating and maintenance cost records, and evaluate information for purpose of vehicle disposal and replacement.

Determine inventory levels, obtains quotes, and orders parts and supplies.

Develop and administer a fleet management program which tracks the service and replacement of all company vehicles.

Work with outside vendors to acquire needed products or services.

Select, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate fleet maintenance personnel

Enforce safety regulations and policies.

Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned

Education/

Experience:

High-School Diploma/GED Bachelor’s Degree preferred2-4 years of fleet management experience

Valid driver’s license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines

Class A CDL preferred

Work Environment:
Works in shop with occasional traveling inside territory.

Frequent balancing, climbing, sitting, and reaching
