Vendor Operations Specialist

Description

At Goal Solutions, this role exists to ensure vendor operations run efficiently, accurately, and without disruption. You’ll manage vendor relationships end-to-end, resolve issues quickly, and improve processes that impact cost, compliance, and service delivery.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, coordinating across teams, and improving how vendors perform.

• Own the vendor lifecycle from onboarding through performance management and offboarding
• Resolve vendor issues, discrepancies, and escalations with speed and accuracy
• Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and drive corrective actions when needed
• Partner with teams to ensure accurate billing and cost control
• Improve vendor processes through automation, tighter controls, and better documentation

• Fast-paced environment with multiple vendors, systems, and priorities
• High attention to detail across contracts, billing, and compliance requirements
• Frequent coordination with vendors, Finance, and internal stakeholders
• Ongoing problem-solving and process improvement work

• Take ownership of issues and drive them to full resolution
• Stay organized while managing competing priorities
• Communicate clearly with both vendors and internal teams
• Look for ways to improve processes, not just maintain them
• Bring accountability, urgency, and attention to detail to your work

• 3–5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or operations
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Experience in financial services, fintech, or servicing operations
• Experience with vendor platforms such as NICE/CXone, Avalara, or similar tools
• Familiarity with vendor systems, reporting, or workflow automation

• Vendor issues and escalations are resolved quickly with minimal disruption
• Vendor performance is consistently tracked and improved against SLAs
• Billing and reconciliation errors are reduced through your oversight
• Vendor processes are more efficient, standardized, and scalable
