MyStaff is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Sioux Falls to hire an experienced Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day, wants to be part of a stable, locally owned company, and is comfortable wearing multiple hats in a manufacturing environment.

We're looking for an accounting professional who has a strong foundation in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (or is willing to be cross-trained), thrives in a fast-paced setting, and has hands-on experience with Quick Books Desktop
—this is a firm requirement.

What You'll Do
  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries and general ledger maintenance
  • Process Accounts Payable and assist with Accounts Receivable
  • Prepare financial records in accordance with GAAP
  • Process vendor payments and reconcile accounting transactions
  • Assist with purchase orders, invoicing, and purchasing activities
  • Prepare international shipping documentation
  • Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
  • Support month-end accounting processes
  • Assist with general office administrative duties as needed
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • Quick Books Desktop experience required (no exceptions)
  • Experience with both AP and AR, or willingness to be cross-trained
  • 5+ years of accounting experience preferred
  • Manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented office
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • $25-$35/hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Overtime may be required based on business needs.
