We are looking for a Staff Accountant with the following responsibilities:
- Recording journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, and preparing annual audit work papers as assigned
- Tracking cash flow and working with the billing department on daily cash deposits
- Serving as the primary contact for corporate credit cards and handling many credit card related tasks
- Recording and tracking funds received by children supported by Life Scape
- Processing weekly check runs for the foundation, ensuring invoices are paid by due dates, coded to correct general ledger accounts, and sales tax is handled appropriately
- Reviewing employee expense reimbursement requests prior to reimbursement
- Completing special projects as assigned
