Gillette Law Office, PC, in Redfield, SD, is seeking a full-time Bookkeeper/Tax Preparer to join our team. This position involves bookkeeping for clients, preparing individual and business tax returns, and assisting with basic accounting tasks.
Salary is dependent upon experience. Benefits:
Single Health Insurance Group Plan, SIMPLE retirement plan, $125 per month of medical payment benefits, $50,000 of group life insurance and paid vacation.
- Entering 1040 Personal Income Tax Returns which contain Schedule F, Schedule C, and Depreciation Schedules using Pro Series Tax Software.
- Providing bookkeeping services to clients using Quick Books.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with Quick Books
- Prior experience with income tax preparation
- Prior experience with Pro Series Tax Software
- Knowledge of payroll and sales tax reporting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience keeping books for farmers or businesses;
- Degree with coursework in accounting is preferred.
